Annapolis Soccer Club

Integrity, Respect, Accessibility, Inclusivity

Story

Jesse Simmerman was the founder of Annapolis Soccer Club well over 30 years ago, and was the longtime General Manager of ASC until his retirement in Fall 2016. Jesse was also a co-founder of the Anne Arundel Youth Soccer Association (AAYSA) and the Arundel Cup Tournament. During Jesse’s guidance, Annapolis Soccer Club grew from a hundred players to almost 1,000 players for each of the fall, winter, and spring seasons. Jesse passed away on 10/7/18 and his commitment to the game, the community, and the club has left a lasting legacy. You should know that Jesse requested that he be buried in his ASC coach’s shirt.
